The Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society and Harvard Law School needed help creating an identity, key art, and an online platform for a four-part documentary series focused unequal distribution of high speed internet access in the nations heartland. The series is being deployed by organizations and community leaders across the country in an effort to catalyze policymaking and elevate the interests of the people–over the interest of the telecommunications companies.

The film title art bonds the purpose and story of the film with the identity.

 
 

We decided on a one-page scrolling design. The focus was on the message, and the films.

The color palette reflects a utilitarian color scheme synonymous with public utilities. Yellow and the black spectrum make good companions–neutrals with just the right burst of color.
